When Junkie Celebrities Die and People Act Like It’s A Shock And They Cared All Along

It’s that time of year again where another Famous so-and-so has passed away and everyone is acting as if their life is over because some person they never met who they probably only knew of one or two “achievements” (I use this term loosely) of the person has passed away.

OK, Fuck all this “beating around the bush” bullshit. Lets face it, I highly doubt the thousands of 13 year-olds on tumblr posting “R.I.P Whitney” knew who the fuck she was.

Why do people want to act as if it is such a loss? Yes she had a talented voice but she was also a drug addict (I say drug because she admitted to using more than one substance including heroin), did people honestly expect her to live for fucking ever and honestly had she had any good songs released since “I will always love you” and she hadn’t starred in any movies since “The Preachers Wife” in 1996. No, so why are there millions of R.I.P things about her it was inevitable.

Now, I am not just attacking Whitney because she passed away, but because I saw a picture which said “Blah blah Blah, Taken too Soon”

1) She was 48

She was born in the 60’s that means that her life expectancy in itself was only 60 for an African American female. Now, the life expectancy of a heroin addict is 15 - 20 years after addiction to the drug. In 2000 was her first conviction for drug use. So assuming that is the first time she has been caught with drugs not the first time using them (Due to her Junkie husband Bobby Brown who has numerous convictions for drug abuse etc whom she was married to since 1992). It was expected that she would die about now anyway, so no it was not to soon.

Back to my list of things:

I saw the same effect around the time that Amy Winehouse passed away, people were acting as if they lost someone important and that it was such a shock. No it wasn’t a fucking shock, she glorified her addiction through her music, and yet people all acted so disappointed why? You all knew her problems, and people tried to help, but it was up to her in the end what she did, So how can people feel sorry? I have no fucking clue.

Michael Jackson, everyone was ok with making rapist and pedophile jokes while he was alive, and the second he died he was a saint. Fuck you all you know what you said about him and the claims you all decided to agree with because it was easier than actually listening to him.Would you all say “Lindsey Lohan R.I.P You were too young” probably too but yet we all bitch about her saying she is such a Slut and a Junkie and all this shit. So fuck you and the high white horse you rode in on passing empathetic judgment on people now that they’re dead. 

In short.

If you aren’t gonna respect someone while they’re alive, it does them no use if you post “R.I.P” while they’re dead
